A Tangled Web 2 Saturday, August 8th - 730PM The CZW Arena 7 W. Ritner Street - Philadelphia, PA
It was a night full of twists and turns, and non-stop CZW action as the Combat Zone returned to South Philly last night for the "Starting Point" on the road to Cage of Death XI! CZW wants to thank all the fans that came out to support CZW, and Nick Gage at the afternoon MBA show for their enthusiasm throughout a long day of wrestling action!
Among the highlights... Drake Younger defeated Trent Acid and Sami Callihan to retain the CZW World Heavyweight Championship, DJ Hyde defeated Ego Fantastico to win the "New Horror Championship", only to learn from Commissioner Maven Bentley that the Title has been retired, the wars between the H8 Club and The Best Around, and the Switchblade Conspiracy and the Naptown Dragons were taken to the next level, Drew Gulak turning on the CZW fans and much more...
In addition, 4 matches have been signed for CZW's return to South Philly on August 8th for "A TANGLED WEB 2"! Those matches are as follows:
A Tangled Web Match The Naptown Dragons (Drake Younger and Scotty Vortekz) vs. The Switchblade Conspiracy (Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan)
Tag Team Warfare - "CZW Style!" The Best Around (TJ Cannon and Bruce Maxwell) vs. The H8 Club (Nick Gage and Nate Hatred)
CZW World Jr. Heavyweight Championship Ego Fantastico (C) vs. Drew Blood
Ultraviolent Underground Championship Danny Havoc (c) will defend against a soon to be named Challenger

7/19 - HAVOC vs. MASADA added to "TANGLED WEB 2"!
At the end of last month's "Starting Point" event, Commissioner Maven Bentley promised fans that Ultraviolent Underground Champion Danny Havoc would return for August 8th's "Tangled Web" event to defend the gold against an "International Ultraviolent Star". Today, CZWrestling.com received a call confirming the identity of the previously unknown challenger. That man comes in the form of Big Japan star MASADA!
In what will be a dream match for CZW fans, Havoc and Masada are sure to re-write the rules of Ultraviolence, while setting an already mid-summer South Philadephia on fire! Who will survive in a battle of two of the hardcore world's toughest competitors? We'll find out on August 8th at CZW's "TANGLED WEB 2"!

7/23 - "Aerial Assault comes to Tangled Web!"
Since it's inception, the innovative Aerial Assault match has been an opportunity for the Combat Zone stars to showcase their high-flying skills, and more importantly, build momentum on their respective quests for CZW gold. At August 8th's "Tangled Web 2", four men have been granted access to the latest incarnation of the match in hopes of raising their collective stocks in the eyes of CZW management. The four men selected are "Scumbag" DEVON MOORE, FACADE, RICH SWANN, and the "New Age Punisher" B-BOY.
These four men are all at different stages in their CZW careers, but all have one thing in common... a goal to be the very best in the world. Both Rich Swann and Facade have impressed the CZW fans in just a short amount of time, and both will look to the Aerial Assault as a chance to prove they can hang with the world's elite high-flyers. Devon Moore has shown that he can do it all. The "Notorious Scumbag" first made waves in wrestling as a fearless high-flyer, and upon entering CZW proved to be even more dangerous by showing his Ultraviolent prowess. While Moore's motivations are sometimes questionable, there is no doubt that he is built for the Aerial Assault match. Then there's B-Boy. The New Age Punisher is certainly a wildcard when it comes to a match of this kind. While he has been known less for his Aerial abilities, and more for his hard-hitting, in-your-face intensity, there is no doubt that B-Boy can also do it all in the black and yellow ring. At Aerial Assault, B-Boy will look to build momentum as he continues his quest to the top of the CZW mountain.
Which of these stars will succeed in their quest to master the Aerial Assault? Only time will tell. One things for certain, CZW's most exciting match has never failed to deliver, and that pattern is likely to continue at August 8th's ''Tangled Web 2". Stay tuned to CZWrestling.com in the coming days as we round out the card, and provide more exclusive videos, all in the build to CZW's August 8th return to action!
